  Nancy Johanson                        
     Photographer and Crafter
Nancy L. Johanson was born in Westhampton Beach, Long Island, New York. She has loved photography since childhood learning from her father, David G. Carter, who developed photos in his darkroom. Nancy, like her father has a natural "eye" for photography.  Their photos from family vacations always look better than postcard photos.
 
It wasn't until Nancy recently retired in 2007 that she has been able to explore her passion of photography.

Growing up on Long Island, it's only natural that Nancy especially loves to photograph the natural beauty of Long Island's landscape.

Crafts

Nancy has also loved crafts her whole life and sewing is her favorite. She has made everything from a bridal gown to an upholstered three piece sectional.  Items for sale at the Guild change frequently, but mainly include items everyone needs like placemats, table runners, aprons, etc.
