Alan, the 2010 First-Prize Winner, mixed-media category of the Old Town
Arts and Crafts Guild "Spring Awakenings" Juried Art competition, creates breathtaking mosaics admired
throughout Long Island and New England. From mosaic mirror frames to
intricately decorated flower urns, Alan's eye for palette and design is
peerless.
"Here on the North
Fork of Long Island, the light is very special. We are surrounded by water on
three sides, and the vast stretch of farmland and vineyards let all that
refracted sunlight just pour in. The light and colors we see are superb,
similar to the southern provinces of France. I feel very lucky to be working
here."

Old Town Arts and Crafts Guild.
