Summer 2011 Children’s Art & Craft Classes

Summer Series of Art and Crafts for Boys and Girls Ages 7-14

June 28 - August 30       Every Tuesday, 10am – 12pm        

Please register early class size is limited

Classes:  Many of this year’s classes will concentrate on our environment.

June 28       Plein Air Painting - An outdoor watercolor landscape adventure.

July 5           Part 1:  Green Project Runway – Ripped, torn, feathered, beaded, tied,                                              dyed, plastic, paper, and tape, we will design our own recycled fashions.                     

July 12         Part 2:  Green Project Runway (continued)

July 19         Part 3:  Green Project Runway (continued)

July 26         Part 4:  Green Project Runway (continued)
                     Finish up our creations and prepare for show.

Aug 02         Part 5:  Dress Rehearsal for Green Project Runway Fashion Show
                     @ the Cutchogue Village Green

Aug 06         Finale:  Green Project Runway Fashion Show on the Cutchogue Village Green
                     A chance to model creations!

Aug 09         Pressed Flower Art - design one of a kind art using pressed flowers and herbs.

Aug 16         Paper quilling

Aug 23         Drawing Class – Drawing the face.        

Aug 30         Summer Memories – Make a handmade book as reminder of your summer of art.
