| A retired physical education teacher, Jane started watercolor painting with Jackie Penney in 1991. Since then, Linda Fischetti has been instructing her in her Southold studio. During the winter, trying to "treat" herself to a different artist/teacher, Jane has taken workshops from notable artists: Joan Furia Kluch, Margaret Martin, Tony Couch and Tom Hill. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Subject matter for most Jane's paintings is developed from a love of nature, especially birds, wildflowers and the beautiy of the North Fork. She does many paintings from travels with desert landscapes, as well as local scenes. Jane is also fascinated with the camouflage in nature and has sold paintings of animals and plants in harmony. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
